Precast Concrete Elements
The Building Material of the Present and the Future
High quality and cost-effectiveness together with an extremely short shell construction period justify the above statement.
For a successful production of precast concrete elements, however, it takes more than “just” a production facility. At first the elements have to be created “virtually”, i.e., starting from the architect’s drawing via the calculations of the structural engineer the data for the production have to be generated.
This process is as important as the production itself.
Thus it is with the completion of the architect’s drawing that the producer of precast concrete elements gets involved in the construction of a building. With the producer being integrated in the building process many benefits can be reaped, i.e., the added value is much higher than it would be the case with conventional style. Therefore the requirements to be met by the producer comprise different skills and a comprehensive knowledge.
Until now for a newcomer to the field of precast concrete elements’ production it was impossible to obtain knowledge from one source only. Different specialist companies supply machines, control systems, CAD systems and much more while other companies provide production planning.
Information obtained from the most diverse sources?
At Prilhofer Institute of PreCast Technology you will find the appropriate seminars for you to receive qualified answers to your various questions.
Our seminars will enable your company to successfully prepare for the production of precast concrete elements or to improve your knowledge by attending our specialist courses.

Our Mission
Prilhofer Institute of PreCast Technology has made it their business to impart the know-how necessary to enable you to produce precast concrete elements easily and without difficulty.
Construction time and quality have proved to be indispensable criteria for success in the construction industry today. Construction time is the key to cost reduction and offers many advantages while determining the necessity for prefabrication at the same time.
Different building materials call for different processing methods:
On the one hand we use “bricks” for the erection of walls with specific physical properties. Technical skills are required and with the process being spontaneous the operator has to “act” very flexibly. Man has to “think” about his actions spontaneously.
On the other hand, with the production of the building material “concrete wall” as a precast element at the same time a part of the building is produced. All details together with the complete planning of production and installation are considered and elaborated in advance. Error sources are reduced to a minimum. Masterminding the complete working process constitutes the aim of industrialised construction of precast concrete elements.
Buildings made of precast concrete elements feature a high quality at a low price level. The main part of the working procedures takes place in the factory where quality control can be carried out easily and efficiently. The number of crafts at a site is reduced to a minimum while time and costs (e.g. personnel costs) are saved. Personnel trained at the site guarantees a consistent and high product quality.
Industrial prefabrication of houses stands for rethinking the working procedures in the construction industry. Modern precast concrete element factories represent a complexity of production procedures that are imparted in our seminars clearly and structured.
To experience the product “precast concrete element” as the ideal building material and to grasp its versatility and efficiency is the aim of our seminars.
